Furry Friends Help Subaru Secure Most Likable TV Ads in Q3

For years Subaru has harnessed the endearing nature of dogs to capture attention for its TV ads, and Q3 2023 was no different: iSpot data reveals that the automaker owned two of the top five most likable spots across all industries with ads from its long-standing "Dog Tested" campaign.

  • "Dog Tested: Everybody In" was the No. 1 ad with a likability score of 799 (100th percentile). Surveyed viewers considered the spot's characters (aka the pups) to be the single best thing about the ad.
  • Subaru also owned the No. 3 ad, with "Dog Tested: On Repeat" scoring 773 for likability.
