Each week, we highlight the most-watched shows and networks using insights from Inscape, the currency-grade smart TV ACR data provider and data technology division of Vizio. Data is linear, live TV only and includes all episode types (new and reruns). Rankings are by percent share duration (i.e., time spent watching). Here's a look at the top 25 networks by viewership share for May 20-26 — head over to TVREV to see the program ranking and get insights about the top shows by watch-time.

After a week in second place, ABC is back at No. 1, although its total viewership share declined week-over-week, from 7.82% to 7.58%. Programming driving watch-time on the network included Good Morning America, NBA playoff games, ABC World News Tonight With David Muir and The View.

A few additional insights around the top TV networks:

  • CBS slips from first to second place week-over-week with 7.48% of watch-time. Top programming included The Price Is Right, CBS Mornings, PGA Tour golf and The Young and the Restless
  • Thanks in part to the NASCAR Cup Series, Fox rises to fourth place from sixth previously, with a 4.87% viewership share.
  • Among the seven networks that retained ranking positions from the previous week, NBC, TBS and Comedy Central all increased their viewership shares. NBC saw the biggest increase (from 6.63% to 7.29%), with Today, The Voice and NBC Nightly News With Lester Holt as some of the top programming by watch-time.
  • Paramount Network was the sole week-over-week ranking newcomer, landing at No. 18 with its 1.16% share fueled largely by reruns of Yellowstone
