Kia Owns Most-Seen Auto TV Ad of 2023

A Kia spot for the Sportage Hybrid racked up over 2.7 billion TV ad impressions over the course of 2023, making it the most-seen auto TV ad according to iSpot data shared with WardsAuto. 

  • Chevrolet's "Build" takes second place with 2.2 billion TV ad impressions, followed close behind by Lexus, with a spot for the ES that also received about 2.2 billion impressions. 
  • According to iSpot's Creative Assessment, Subaru owns three of the five most-liked auto TV commercials that received more than 100 million TV ad impressions. 
  • Two of those are part of Subaru's "Dog Tested" campaign, including the No. 1 spot by likability, "Dog Tested: Soccer Practice." This commercial also ranked high for purchase intent, with 49% of surveyed viewers reporting an increased desire to purchase a Subaru after watching the ad.
