While NBA and the 2023 PGA Championship took top spots for TV watch-time last week, college softball jumped into the ranking at No. 10, per Inscape data, with 0.64% of all live, linear minutes watched.

Some additional insights about the recent top programs and networks on TV:

  • People are still tuning into NBA playoff action, but watch-time was down during a week that saw the Celtics stumble against the Heat, while the Lakers succumbed to the Nuggets. In total, games captured 3.35% of watch-time, down from 5.42% previously.
  • After a week off the ranking, American Idol makes it back on to finish out season 21, with the final two episodes capturing 0.55% of watch-time.
  • On the network side of things, CBS beats out ABC for first place with 7.86% of minutes watched, driven in part by the 2023 PGA Championship.
  • Oxygen was the sole week-over-week network ranking newcomer, moving from No. 27 to No. 25 with 0.93% of minutes watched. Dateline: Secrets Uncovered and Snapped were its two top programs.
