Nursery rhymes and children’s songs rank among the top five most-viewed and most-engaging YouTube videos from kids’ creators, as Tubular Labs recently shared. Over the last 90 days, newly-uploaded children's songs videos earned 17.9 billion views on YouTube, which was 3.7 billion more than the next-best category.

  • Children's songs, toy videos and nursery rhyme videos were all top performers, each achieving more than 14 billion views in the 90-day span.
  • The those categories were also tops (among children's content) by engagement – with children's songs (152 million) and toy videos (139 million) outpacing the rest.
  • Interestingly, Cocomelon stacks up relatively well as its own unique category; at 8.3 billion views and 80 million engagements over the last 90 days, the children's content giant comes pretty close to the overall "baby songs' category by performance, and sits firmly among the top five as well.
