Warner Bros. Discovery Surges on YouTube With Less Uploads, Following ‘Dune: Part Three’ Trailer Release
Warner Bros. Discovery has generated massive viewership and engagement during the month of March, in part from the new release of the long-awaited Dune: Part Three official trailer.
Data from Tubular Labs shows that unique viewers of Warner Bros. Discovery rose 81% in March, with 30s views increasing by 80% and minutes watched by 46%.
Interestingly, while views were up significantly from Feb. to March, uploads were down by 19. In Feb., the account generated 189M views with 95 uploads. In March, those views soared to 216M with only 76 uploads. The success of the Warner Bros. channel is in part attributed to the Dune: Part Three trailer. Uploaded on March 17, the trailer has generated 37.2M views to date, including a spike on March 18 with 11M views that day alone.
Warner Bros. has successfully generated fan excitement and intrigue over the upcoming release of the Dune final installment, bringing that momentum to social.
