Viewing time for traditional TV inputs (cable/satellite/OTA) may be decreasing, but people aren’t totally eschewing live, linear content — they’re just streaming it instead, thanks to the smart TV apps and devices available that provide access to what’s currently airing on broadcast and cable networks. In Q1, streaming captured 24.4% of live, linear viewing time, according to Inscape’s latest TV Market Trends report.
