Max racked up $25.9 million in Earned Media Value (EMV) in April, a 20% increase from its March EMV, making it the top video streaming service by month-over-month growth, per a recent CreatorIQ analysis. Max also saw notable growth in impressions (+51% vs. March) and engagements (+46% month-over-month). New programming adapted from novels fueled part of the service’s momentum.

  • Robert Downy Jr and Sandra Oh helped drive $608K EMV for #TheSympathizer, a new miniseries based on the Pulitzer-prize winning novel by Viet Thanh Nguyen.
  • Looking purely at EMV, Netflix was the No. 1 video streamer ($78.1 million EMV), followed by Prime Video ($34.3 million) and Hulu ($33.2 million).
