Disney Uses 'Kimmel' Return to Promo Its Other Shows
Disney-owned promos accounted for a third of the ad minutes for the Sept. 23 episode.

After a six-day suspension, Jimmy Kimmel Live! returned to TV screens on September 23...well, some of them at least, as Nexstar and Sinclair affiliates continue to boycott.
From a national TV perspective, ad minutes were down for Tuesday's episode vs. previous episodes, while the number of promos from Disney-owned properties that aired were up. Per iSpot.tv national TV ad airings data:
- There were 12 minutes of ads during Kimmel's September 23 episode; by comparison, the September 15 episode had 14.2 minutes of ads.
- There were 11 promos for Disney/ABC/Hulu programming across the episode, accounting for four minutes (a third) of ad total time.
- Other advertisers included Apple, Wegovy, Shopify and The Farmer's Dog, among others.
