YouTube's Most Prolific U.S. Media Shorts Creators In 1H 2025
Shorts are a big deal, as the format accumulates seemingly larger shares of YouTube's views. But which U.S. media companies are doing the best job generating eyeballs with Shorts? Data from Tubular Labs reveals the top domestic media companies by shorts (uploads and views) over the first half of 2025.
- Kids creator Toys and Colors received significant bang for their buck, so to speak, with 1.7 billion views on just 56 new Shorts uploads so far this year, to lead the way.
- Notably, House of Highlights leans heavily into Shorts, outpacing many other sports creators on a mix of volume, access (owned by WBD, so has NBA rights) and long being seen as a go-to place for notable game clips – especially for basketball.
- WWE's success also points to a greater emphasis on the Shorts format year-over-year; uploading nearly 400 more in the first half of 2025 vs. the first half of 2024.
