Spotify has seen a massive increase in U.S. YouTube unique viewers in Feb. 2026, as their video “Spotify”, uploaded on Jan. 27, has driven significant viewership. According to Tubular Labs, Spotify has seen a 275% increase in unique viewers month over month–from Jan. to Feb.– and a 252% increase in minutes watched. The account has also generated a 292% increase in 30s views, but a slight decrease (6%) in minutes watched per viewer.

While views and audience have surely increased, engagement for Spotify’s content contradicts this – as audiences are spending less time watching, but watching at a much higher volume. The video “Spotify” follows popular, upcoming artists like Sombr, Lola Young, and Alex Warren through childhood into their newfound stardom, highlighting the dedication it takes to become a successful artist. The video resonated with audiences, generating 83.5M views to date, but with only 438 engagements total.

While Spotify successfully drove significant scale through broad distribution, the content primarily served as a high-reach awareness driver. The campaign highlights an opportunity to pair this high visibility with engagement-forward elements, deepening audience interaction.
