Tubular Labs data shows that media & entertainment brands are recognizing the power of social video, and allocating more budget and resources to the platforms in 2024, according to their new report, 2024 State of Video: Tubular’s Social Media Playbook

  • New research from Tubular for January 2023 through December of 2023 shows that YouTube uploads for M&E channels only increased by 5%, namely because their content strategies and presence on the platform has been consistent and thorough. 
  • However, views for this content grew organically by more than 118% in that same time period, from 59 billion in January to 124 billion in December.
  • Mainstream media has exhibited unprecedented growth on social video over the past year, proving that investing in platforms leads to measurable ROI.
