Maddie Mastro Is Winning Instagram Gold

One of the biggest success stories of this year's Winter Olympics so far comes via U.S. snowboarder Maddie Mastro.

On Instagram, Tubular Labs found that no account is getting a bigger engagement boost (relative to normal) around Olympic and Team USA content than Mastro. In the week from Feb. 6-13 alone, her monthly IG engagement has soared by nearly 8x vs. her highs over the last year.

• As of last Friday, Mastro had already uploaded 52 Instagram videos in February, and has been one of the world’s most engaging accounts around the Olympics.
• Her personal and oft-times humorous touch has won her a ton of new fans on the platform, to go along with the success she’s found snowboarding as well.

Interestingly, she hasn’t done any sponsored videos leading up to (or including) this year’s Olympics. But that could change significantly once the Games end and she has a much larger follower list in tow.
