Kidzoki Emerges As New Player In Children's Shorts Videos
The kids entertainment space is a crowded, but new players can occasionally pop up with differing approaches. In recent months, one of those is Kidzoki, which emerged at the beginning of the year while leaning on YouTube Shorts, and has grown over 15 million unique U.S. YouTube viewers – according to data from Tubular Labs.
- Kidzoki was one of the top 25 kids entertainment & animation creators in the U.S. by unique viewers in August, and within a million views of No. 19, while leaning all-in on Shorts.
- On top of Shorts, Kidzoki also engages in a volume play in terms of uploads; the publisher has added 253 videos in the last 90 days, including 93 in August alone, and all are Shorts.
- Kidzoki's top video in August scored a substantial 697 million views, while simply testing out different pairs of scissors.
Creators can still emerge in seemingly crowded spaces like kids content by trying something different to compete with more established publishers. Kidzoki's emergence has been over six months in the making now, and it will be interesting to see if they're able to keep it going through the end of the year against some of the space's giants.
