On the heels of its recent Global Consumer Trends Index, martech company Marigold has published a second report focusing on U.S. consumers. Within it is a wealth of insights around marketing channels, messaging engagement, brand loyalty, data privacy and more. A few highlights: 

  • U.S. consumer optimism is growing: 50% of survey respondents say they are optimistic about the economic outlook, up from 42% last year.
  • Email continues to be the top marketing channel by purchase frequency — but both social media ads and posts trail closely behind.
  • There’s notable loyalty among U.S. consumers: 78% of consumers say they’ll pay more to shop with the brands to which they’re loyal.
