Hilton's Conrad Hotel Brand Soars With Streaming Ads
Hilton is a household brand name, and one of the biggest in the travel space. But some of its subsidiaries – while successful – may not have the same consumer recognition. Or at least, they didn't until Hilton started blitzing both streaming and linear TV with advertising.
- Data from iSpot shows that Conrad Hotels & Resorts (owned by Hilton) barely appeared on TV from Jan. 1-May 31, 2024, yet were surging this year across streaming and linear TV alike.
- Conrad accounts for 21.89% of hotel & motel brand reach on TV so far this year (No. 2 behind Choice Hotels), and 28.0% of hotel & motel brand ad impressions appearing on streaming – No. 1 in the industry by almost 2x.
- Conrad Hotels & Resorts' surge started in Q4 last year across both streaming and linear TV, setting the stage for this year's TV takeover: The brand has almost 3K more linear ad airings than the nearest hotel competitor since Oct. 1, 2024, and nearly 30% of the industry's streaming ad impressions in that timeframe, too.
