Disney Pixar’s YouTube Strategy for ‘Hoppers’ Drives Massive Audience Uptick

Disney Pixar has seen a massive uptick in U.S. YouTube unique viewers in Feb. 2026 at 36.3M - an over 1,000% increase from Jan., according to data from Tubular Labs. Minutes watched in Feb. also increased by 441%, at 43.9M. 

While unique viewers rose significantly, Disney Pixar uploads did not spike in Feb. – at 34 uploads that month, they maintained a similar upload cadence to the year before, and much less than July 2025, which jumped to 69 uploads.

The upload “Hoppers | Big Game Spot | In Theaters March 6” generated the most views in Feb. at 24.8M. “Hoppers | Tom Review | In Theaters March 6” also saw impressive viewership at 23.4M views – relying on humor and real Hoppers reviews from fans online to generate excitement. Disney Pixar’s use of creative 30s promotional clips for the new movie appears to resonate well with audiences – and even bring new audience members in.
