First-year Colorado football coach Deion Sanders got Fox’s Big Noon college football slot off to a roaring start in week one of the season. According to iSpot data, the Buffaloes’ upset win over TCU had over 2.4 million out-of-home (OOH) viewers for a noon Saturday start – No. 2 among all college games during Labor Day weekend.

In the weeks following, eyeballs also stayed on the Buffaloes...

  • Despite a blowout score of 42-6 in favor of Oregon, Colorado's loss to the Ducks drew an average minute audience of nearly 3.6 million OOH viewers – the top football game (NFL or college) by OOH audience for the week of Sept. 18-24, and again, the game didn't air in primetime.
  • Colorado hosted three of the first five Big Noon Kickoff events for Fox ths year, and played in four of the first five, while Boulder was also home to ESPN's College Gameday in week three.
  • Coach Prime is in front of audiences during commercial breaks as well. iSpot data shows one Alfac spot featuring Sanders and Alabama coach Nick Saban – "Coach Prime and Coach Saban Walk Into An Office Takeover" – is the No. 8 most-seen ad during college football games this season.
