Chevrolet Leads iSpot's Latest Ranking of Most-Seen Auto TV Ads

With 217.1 million national TV ad impressions, Chevrolet's ad for the '24 Trax leads iSpot's ranking of most-seen auto TV ads for July 17-23. Of those impressions, 23.6% were generated by the 2023 Open Championship.

  • Ram Trucks takes second place with a spot promoting its "Make This the Summer" sales event (208.2 million TV ad impressions). According to iSpot’s Creative Assessment, this commercial scored above the auto norm for attention, likability, desire and relevance.
  • Subaru owns the No. 3 and No. 4 ads, which combine for 370.7 million impressions. Notably, it was the only automaker in the top five ranking that didn't advertise during the Open Championship.
  • Mercedes-Benz's fifth-place ad (166.8 million impressions) had a 91% brand match (the percentage of survey respondents who remembered it was a Mercedes-Benz ad after watching it), above the recent automaker industry norm of 78%.
