Primetime TV ad reach displayed slight growth in Q1, according to data from iSpot, which shows a 1.08% rise in ad impressions during the medium's most important (from a spend perspective) daypart. More from iSpot's Q1 transparency snapshot:

  • TV rallied around key sporting events in Q1, and those dayparts – primetime, weekend afternoon – both climbed slightly year-over-year despite continued headwinds toward linear viewing.
  • Different advertisers find value in different dayparts, however... In primetime, Progressive (1.28% of TV ad impressions), Domino's (1.09%) and Verizon (1.06%) are by far the most-seen brands.
  • But in daytime, Consumer Cellular (0.90%) is the top advertiser, along with primetime holdover Progressive (0.89%) and Balance of Nature (0.64%).
