The NFL has long been the largest source of TV ad impressions, and that was the case once again during the 2022-23 season. TVNewsCheck recently featured data from iSpot detailing just how much the league's network partners lean on live NFL games for ad impression deliveries.

  • Nearly half (48.1%) of Fox household TV ad impressions were delivered by the NFL during the 2022-23 regular season and playoffs.
  • Even for NBC, which airs one game per week (the league's Sunday Night Football showcase), the NFL still accounts for almost 24%.
