Study: Fragmentation Biggest Challenge for Streaming Measurement

One of the biggest challenges facing advertisers today is how to measure cross-platform viewing. As part of a recent survey, iSpot.tv asked advertisers to rank the most significant challenges they face when it comes to streaming measurement. More than half (53.6%) of respondents cited “fragmentation” as either the first or second biggest hurdle. A few more highlights: 

  • “Cross-platform reach and frequency management” ranked first or second by 34.8%.
  • “Allocation across publishers” ranked first or second by 29%. 
  • Notably, marketers ranked “business outcomes” both as one of the top — and the least — biggest challenge.
